Placement and acceptation of an order
Any order placed on the website requires the receipt of a confirmation email. Without this email, the order will not be considered validated.
Once the order is confirmed, the estimated creation time for the hat is around one month, which includes:
• 1 to 2 weeks for the receipt of materials
• 2 weeks for the artisan crafting process (molding, adjustments, finishing)
This time frame starts from the sending of the confirmation email and does not include the delivery time.
Cancelling or refounding an order
No cancellations or refunds will be accepted once the order is confirmed.
As the hats are made to order, each piece is created according to the client’s specifications (size, shape, and any modifications). Once production has begun, it is not possible to cancel or modify the order.
Exception: If no order for materials (e.g., felt) has been placed yet, a cancellation may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Modifications after the reception
If an issue arises after receiving the hat (e.g., incorrect size), it is possible to return the hat within 14 days for necessary adjustments.
Color changes cannot be made after production. Any color choices confirmed prior to production are final.
Delivery
The delivery time is independent of the creation time and depends on the chosen carrier.
Julie Chauvet Paris cannot be held responsible for any damages or delays caused by the carrier. If a shipping issue occurs, assistance will be provided to help find a solution, but any claims should be made directly to the carrier.
Returns Policy
As the hats are made to order, returns are not accepted.
However, if a defect or sizing issue is noticed upon receipt, the client has 14 days to contact Julie Chauvet Paris. After this period, no further modifications can be made.
Liability
Julie Chauvet Paris cannot be held responsible for issues arising from:
• Improper care or misuse of the hat after receipt
• Errors in the information provided by the client (size, color choice, etc.)
• Any delays or shipping issues beyond Julie Chauvet Paris’s control

If any of these terms and conditions shall prove to be void, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason then such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from the remaining terms and conditions which shall remain valid and enforceable.
If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
